The name of the game is customer service. The L’Auberge Du Lac Hotel and Casino (or LDL Hotel and Casino) has lost that game. Not only did they lose, it was a blow out. I’m sorry to beat a dead horse here, but it’s just mind boggling to me the lack of customer satisfaction that the LDL has displayed here. Also, any time anyone does a search for LDL on google or yahoo, I’m right up there on the top of the list. I want people to see my review before going to this place and know that if they have a bad experience LDL is NOT going to do anything to make it better. They apparently are not concerned with customers returning to their “resort”.

I have emailed the LDL via their website on 7 occasions. I’ve emailed them 4 times in the past 2 weeks alone requesting an email response from a manager. No such luck. I’m positive that they’ve seen my website because there are several hits from Lake Charles, LA on my web stat counter.

Again, LDL management, my friends and I went to your hotel/casino for a batchelor party. We had a horrible time due to many many inconveniences. These inconveniences were a result of the hotel/casino being BRAND new. We paid FULL price. We would like you to make it up to us by comping us a 2 night stay. After that visit, we will re-review your hotel/casino and post the review not only here but on About.com.

I’ve decided to give it one more shot. I’ve emailed the L’Auberge Du Lac Hotel and Casino management and flat out asked for a comp. I requested a free 2 night stay. If you aren’t familiar with our experience at the LDL casino resort you can read about it on my site or on about.com.

I transferred some money from my Pacific Poker account over to Noble Poker via Neteller. I recommend you check Noble Poker out. What I was particulary fond of was the 6 seat cash tables. But also, there are some great Sit-N-Go options. I also got a nice deposit bonus.

It’s funny how quickly the right girl can change the order of your priorities in a matter of minutes. Poker what? Poker who?

I’ve been a little outta the loop lately. I don’t want to let this site go to the crapper. So what I’m asking for is a little outside help. I’d love to get some guest entries here on the blog. All you Austin Bloggers out there feel free to email me and I’d be happy to post your articles or editorials here.

No, I’m not quitting. Just getting a little settled. As time permits, I’m going to just completely start all over. The poker that I have been able to play lately, has been crap. Like in any game, and in sports, sometimes you gotta get back to the basics. FUNDAMENTALS. After you get a little comfortable in a game or a sport you sometimes focus on the advanced skills and forget about the basics.

So… bare with me, I’m gonna be a lot quieter but I’m still here. Again, feel free to email me anything. I’ll review it, and if it’s halfway decent I’ll post it and link back to you.
