$400 win, on Rigged Ultimate Bet

I won a multi-player tourny today, the prize was $400.

Now they’re telling me I can’t cash out because of some kind of error with my account, which is bullshit because I just cashed out $900 three and a half weeks ago with no trouble. There are no honest poker sites. They’re all rigged. If you do get lucky and win they make you jump through such hoops to get your money out. They do this in hopes that you will play a little longer and
that’s when they turn on the kill switch and take it all away.

Above you see that UB is telling me I can’t withdraw because I’ve never made a deposit? Below you will see a $800+ cashout I made just 3 and a half weeks ago:

Real Poker Training

Real Poker Training is VITAL to all intermediate and advanced hold’em players. Todd Arnold (NSXT1 and NSXT2 depending on which site he is playing on) gives you an inside look at being an uber-successful online poker player. Todd has placed in the money in World Poker Tour tournaments and is a regular columnist for Card Player Magazine. Todd Arnold has won numerous big money online tournies and he lets you watch online as he plays them. There is a fee to be a member of his site, but I assure you I recouped that fee within hours of watching his videos. Nowhere else will you get to watch along as a pro player wins a big money tourny. As you are watching he is commenting on his plays and his strategy. As much as I want to keep this site a secret, I know it will benefit you if you become a member.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE use the link below if you want to join.

My brush with poker greatness

Well, not really poker greatness, but the father of a well-known poker player who I happen to put near the top of my favorite poker players list.

Back in November I went to Vegas for 6 days and played a lot of poker at the Luxor. The Luxor has a unique cash game in that there is a $50 min/max buy-in with $1/$1/$2 blinds. Although not an ideal structure, it was a good game nontheless.

2 people stuck out in my mind during my 6 or 7 sessions at the Luxor. The first was the guy who wore a viking helmut. He played solid and had a striking resemblence to one of the cast members of the Real World Austin.

The second was an older gentleman who wore shades and looked familiar to me. He played very solid, never said a word, but did take several bad beats prompting him to rebuy probably 5 or 6 times during the session. The real reason I noticed him was because I noticed that he had sweat coming from his ears. I didn’t really give it a second thought until the asshole cocky kid sat down on my left and began to talk to Real World Austin guy about this person’s ears. Anyway, he had a memorable face and the sweat thing kinda stuck in my mind.

Several weeks later I was watching Poker Superstars on one of the ESPN’s or Fox Sports (whatever channel that horrible show is on) and it turns out that the guy I played with was Antonio Esfandiari’s father. On the show they mentioned that Esfandiari’s dad was in the studio watching the tournament and sure enough it was the same guy from the Luxor with the ear sweat problem.

Ya, I know it’s kind of a stupid story and by no means did I actually play poker with a well known pro but I just thought it was worth noting and if I never make it in poker I can at least say that I played against a poker pro’s dad.back to main page

Poker After Dark: An Unknown Gem

Most poker shows are crap these days. Of course, the WSOP and WPT are still great but maybe losing just a tad of their luster. However, there are 2 poker shows that really stand out to me now.

LaLa. Trade your old cds

This is a pretty cool idea and I hope it takes off. Basically, it works kinda like netflix in a way. You list all of the cd’s that you have that you don’t mind parting with. They send you these plastic cd cases and prepaid envelopes. When someone wants one of your cd’s they request it and you send it free. Then, you also make a list of cd’s you want. You request them online and if someone has it in thier “HAVE LIST” they ship it to you and you pay $1 plus 75 cents shipping. You don’t get charged unless someone sends you a cd you’ve requested. Check it out:Click here to get any of my CDs for $1
