The Wind
My buddy and coworker Zane has been writing, producing, acting and directing short films since he was a kid. He actually put me in a movie a couple years back. Help him get some hits by visiting his youtube video…
As you can see, I’m transitioning from blogger over to wordpress….. I like the interface more and it just looks better. The cool thing about WordPress is that I can catagorize my entries. So, if I wanna write something about poker it will be under the poker catagory … if I wanna write something about my Youtube covers than it will be under “Tom’s Songs”.
You can organize the posts however you like. If you’re visiting because of my poker posts, just choose the poker catagory and you will only see those posts… and so on and so forth..
enjoy
If you’re not a guitar player you would still think this kid is phenomenal. However, to those of us that actually play guitar what is even more fascinating is that he is playing this song in an alternate tuning. That is kindof the equivellant of learning another language for the guitar..
I’ll start with Andy McKee. This guy is incredible and you’ll see why. He is probably one of the most searched guitarists on Youtube.
Well, It’s bitter sweet. Bitter because I wanted the poker boom to last forever. Sweet, because I won a bet. This years WSOP main event had about 2000 less entries than last year. I suspect this trend will continue for the next few years until the main event attendance settles around 2000 to 2500 players in 5 years or so. 3 things killed the boom.

Why this is a good thing? Because, as the boom dies down a bit, poker can become poker again. Not the madhouse that it has evolved into over the past few years. With less players in the main event, lucky amateurs will less likely beat out the pros, the legends..
I drove to Dallas last night with a couple coworkers to see 80’s hair band legends Poison and Ratt at the Nokia Theater…. I had a good time. It wasn’t the same as when I saw them when I was 16 or 17, but still a nice trip down memory lane. As great as the show was, there was one solitary singular thing that made the 2.5 hr drive each way worth while…. and that one thing is posted below…
